Ask your kid what kind of sport or sport he/she wants to try. Then once a decision has been made, list all the gears and supplies needed. Be meticulous when looking for different equipment. Checking the quality and fitness is the key. See your child’s coach and ask for recommendations.

What kind of sports gear should I buy for my kid?

Online shopping shouldn’t be a hassle. One of the great advantages of shopping online is the ability to compare prices and items easily. Buy comfortable sports clothes that are perfect for daytime straight up to noontime practice. Dry fit shirts and shorts are also good choices. The right clothes will help your child exercise freely and easily.

Don’t just look at the price. Sometimes expensive stuff do not guaranty the quality. Search through some reviews if buying online and let your kid try on the clothes or shoes if buying in person.

Gear! Equipment! Just don’t forget the water bottle, mommy or daddy.  It is a must. Their body needs to stay hydrated.

What’s next?

When you are a parent with an athletic kid, your car is like an extension of the home. Turn your trunk into a portable locker on wheels. Bring extra water, for you, your kid and friends. Extra balls are also important, especially when their sport is soccer, baseball, and football. These can be lost frequently. Bring a portable cushioned chair for your athlete to let them relax during break times.

Make your fall season full of adventure. Be active and healthy with your young athlete. Enjoy and have fun!
